Help us restore a small redwood forest habitat! Volunteers should expect to work outside in a sunny, exposed area, move mulch using shovels and wheelbarrows, and learn about ecological restoration techniques.
Waivers/Registration: All volunteers attending the workday must be registered individually and have approved the online waiver through this Eventbrite page. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf. Volunteers age 12 and under require an accompanying adult.
Parking: 482 University Ave. Los Altos, CA 94022. There is no parking available in the preserve. Please park on the street and walk down the driveway.
Alternate Transportation: There is a bus stop at the corner of El Monte & University a couple blocks away from the entrance of the preserve. There are multiple Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority bus routes that arrive at this point. Here is a link to their bus schedule. If you prefer biking, there are bike racks near the cottage in the preserve.
