AMERICORPS PROGRAMS
AmeriCorps has been an essential part of Grassroots Ecology since 2012. AmeriCorps members have the opportunity to explore a career in habitat restoration, gain experience engaging their local communities, and build connections within the national and statewide AmeriCorps networks.
At Grassroots Ecology, AmeriCorps members are assigned to a field team along with 2-3 other staff members, AmeriCorps fellows, and/or interns. All AmeriCorps members spend one day per week working at our Native Plant Nursery. We partner with two AmeriCorps programs: the Watershed Stewards Program and California Climate Action Corps.
Please contact Emily Sharp at emily@grassrootsecology.org for any questions regarding our AmeriCorps programs.
