The Coyote Creek Watershed Day will feature activities that will build awareness about the Coyote Creek watershed and in particular stormwater pollution, water quality, and wildlife habitat. Watershed Day activities planned include a steelhead conservation interpretive and a benthic macroinvertebrates station, water quality station with an Enviroscape model, and a guided bird walk and BioBlitz, which involves community members in collecting data on species found in the area with a smartphone application.
A bike ride is offered by Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition with Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful. Register to attend at https://bit.ly/221001-bike.
Located in Morgan Hill, the park is a safe haven for many species of plants and animals right along Coyote Creek. We will have experts in various fields to help guide participants through all the cool plants and wildlife.
So bring your family and prepare for an in-depth tour of this great region.
