CalNat Alumni: Stewardship Day at Byrne Preserve

  • Byrne Preserve 27210 Altamont Road Los Altos Hills, CA, 94022 United States (map)

Are you a certified California Naturalist? Join us for a day of hands-on habitat restoration!

CalNat alumni will work together restore a wildlife corridor that provides critical habitat for plants and animals at Byrne Preserve. We'll plant native plants, remove invasive weeds using hand tools, and take a nature walk around the preserve.

Note: We will spend time kneeling on hard ground and walking on uneven terrain.

Visit Grassroots Ecology's Byrne Preserve page to learn more about the ecosystem and accessibility considerations.

Family members and friends of CalNat alumni are welcome - please have them register, too!

Restoration will take place from 9am-12pm. All participants are invited to join us for a picnic lunch from 12pm-1pm after the workday! Bring your own lunch and a picnic blanket if you'd like.

Parking: 27210 Altamont Rd, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 at the Westwind Community Barn dirt parking lot. Please park on the side of the parking lot closest to Byrne Preserve.
