Spring Flowers Naturalist Walk

  • Byrne Preserve 27210 Altamont Road Los Altos Hills, CA, 94022 United States (map)

Join us as we explore spring wildflowers at Byrne Preserve! On this guided walk, participants will discover native flowers and learn about their unique place in our local ecosystem. This preserve hosts stunning displays of California poppies, buttercups, lupines, and many other gems!

Participants should expect to hike 1-2 miles at a slow to moderate pace on dirt trails, including some moderately steep hills. Most of the trails are in exposed, sunny areas; participants should bring water and wear sunscreen and a hat! Visit Grassroots Ecology's Byrne Preserve page to learn more about the ecosystem and accessibility considerations.

Waivers/Registration: All participants must be registered and have approved the online waiver through this Eventbrite page. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf. Participants age 12 and under require an accompanying adult.
